Boden (Swedish: [ˈbǔːdɛn], outdatedly [ˈbûːdɛn])[2] is a locality and the seat of Boden Municipality in Norrbotten County, Sweden with 16,847 inhabitants in 2018.[1] It is part of the larger area around coastal city Luleå some 36 kilometres (22 mi) southeast.[3] After Kiruna, it is the second largest town in Northern Sweden's interior.
